Making the case for investment and supporting partners: Transport East at UKREiiF

Transport East journeyed north with regional partners to join UKREiiF in Leeds. This investment focused conference offered a fantastic opportunity to engage with delegates on the future of transport infrastructure in the East. Over the three days, members of our team shared insights, listened to stakeholders, and discussed the priorities crucial for driving growth, investment and connectivity across our region.
Our CEO, Andrew Summers, joined our ‘Team Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’ neighbours on a panel discussing how transport improvements in the region can drive national growth. He highlighted the importance of enhancing connections across Cambridgeshire and into the East to fully capitalise on planned investment around Cambridge.
Our Rural Mobility Manager, Sharon Payne joined a roundtable hosted by the Greater Lincolnshire Mayor exploring cross-region engagement to address the transport needs of rural communities.
If you didn’t have a chance to speak with us during the event, we would still welcome your input. Please contact our team at [email protected].
