Andrew Summers responds to news that Greater Anglia’s rail services will be in public ownership on Sunday, 12 October
“With Greater Anglia rail services returning to public ownership this Sunday, we welcome the Government’s continued commitment to delivering a more integrated, passenger-focused rail network across the East.

The network plays a vital role in the region, facilitating economic growth and connecting people. We hope this transition will preserve and build upon those strengths while creating new opportunities to enhance services, grow ridership, and support the Government’s ambition for a simpler and more unified railway.
